I’m not normally a huge sweets person, but when I get a craving for something sweet I have to have it like, right away or the craving will get worse, and I’ll end up eating an entire box on donuts, and we all know how bad that is for you. Cupcakes are one of my favorite ways to cure a sweet tooth. They are easy to make, proportioned, and something the entire family can agree on.
As some of you know, recently we have hopped on the Weight Watchers train and so I’m always looking for yummy recipes to share with you guys. And that delicious looking cupcake up there? Oh yeah, its weight watchers friendly. Only 2 PP per cupcake actually. Can you believe it!? Lets check out how to make them shall we?
So I was watching TV while on a blogging break earlier this morning and something got me thinking, why is there SO much crap in our food lately!? It seems like there are more and more things that have ingredients that I can pronounce. With that in mind, and remembering that it was taco night, I thought I would ditch the premade stuff and try to make everything from scratch. So that meant ditching the taco kit and learning to season my own taco meat. And I must say, I think my tacos taste better now then they did when I was using the packaged spices so I thought I would share the recipe with you. The best part? This Homemade Weight Watchers Taco Seasoning Recipe is 0 Points Plus! Woohoo! Continue reading
One of my favorite things about spring is getting together with family to enjoy the nice weather, each others company, and some sweet treats. While watching the news over the weekend I saw that our local berry farm was open for business and it was time to go pick some fresh berries! If you have one of these types of farms in your area I highly suggest you checking it out. Nothing compares to the taste of a fresh berry right off the vine, trust me! And one of my favorite things to make with fresh berries is Weight Watchers Mixed Berry Cobbler Cake. It’s as sweet as a traditional cobbler while being weight watchers friendly. Cant beat that right!? Plus it’s only 3 ingredients so it’s super easy to make. My daughter (who is 6) made the one below all by herself. If you love this recipe make sure to check out more of our favorite Weight Watchers Dessert Recipes with Points Plus.
Smoothies are one of my favorite things to have for breakfast any time of year. I’m not big on eating a “real” breakfast so early in the morning. Mainly because I just don’t have time. So smoothies are a favorite in my house. They are quick, cold, and delicious. Today I wanted to share with you one of my favorite smoothie recipes with you, my Weight Watchers Tropical Smoothie Recipe! It’s only 5 Points Plus and will transport you to a tropical island when you drink it! (Ok, so not exactly, but you know what I mean!)Continue reading
