Peach Leather Recipe

Easy peach leather recipeI LOVE fruit chews but hate all the additives and the expense of them….so when we bought a case of peaches we decided to try Peach leather. What a wonderful, delicious, easy snack!!!

Ever have bunches of fruit and want to make fruit leather? Think you have to use a dehydrator or other special equipment? If you have a blender and an oven you can make this great snack.

What is fruit leather?

Fruit leathers are tasty and chewy dried fruits or also called homemade fruit rolls. Fruits are dried by removing water content through sun drying, or by using dehydrators. Another method is by drying in puree form, which is what I will show you in this recipe.

Low Calorie Funfetti Cookies – Easy Cookie Recipes for Kids

Easy Cookie Recipes for Kids

A lot of people think that if you are on a diet, or just eating healthy in general, the things like cookies are a no-no. I’ll admit so did I until I found this awesome recipe for Low Calorie Funfetti Cookies! Who doesn’t love Funfetti cake!? With a few simple swaps, and about 15 minuets you can have yummy, fluffy Low Calorie Cookies, and not ruin your whole diet! At only 78 calories a cookie, this is going to become a favorite dessert at this house, and maybe at yours too!

Here is what you will need to make Low Calorie Funfetti Cookies:

Yep, just 3 ingredients for this tasty treat!

  • Funfetti cake mix
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup of nonfat vanilla yogurt

Here are the directions for making Low Calorie Funfetti Cookies:

Step 1: Mix the funfetti cake mix, eggs, and yogurt together until smooth (I did end up putting about 1/2 a cup of water in the mix to soften it up a bit)

Step 2: Preheat oven to 375 degrees and spoon batter onto a cookie sheet in drops, make sure they are about 2 inches apart. (I found 2 different ways to do this, one was to use a well greased cookie sheet, another was to use a cookie sheet covered in foil, so I tried both to find out which would work better)

Step 3: Cook cookies at 375 degrees for 10 minuets or until fluffy. I found that using the greased cookie sheet (I used olive oil) worked MUCH better then the foil, they slid right off, they tended to get stuck on the foil.

That’s it! 3 ingredients, 3 steps, 1 yummy Low Calorie Cookie!!

All together this took me about 15 minuets to do, and the cookies are awesome! It’s almost like eating a mini cake (minus the icing, and guilt) My 6 year old loved them, and I love that they are only 48 calories a cookie! This would be great for a sleepover, birthday party, or just to have a little something sweet!
