I have three kids and I feel like we can barely make it through breakfast without we had this… I decided it was time to change it up. You know the real issue is time in the morning. I play zone defense with three kids and it really is an uphill battle. I came up with these kid cereal and oatmeal recipes. I decided I would share them since you may also have these issues. The breakfast boredom.
These are the ingredients:
Olive oil cooking spray
5 cups of rolled oats
1 tsp of cinnamon
1 cup of apple sauce
3 tbs of honey
1 tsp of vanilla extract
1/2 cup of dried apricots
1/2 cup of cranberries flavored with blueberry or blueberries
1/4 cup of cranberries flavored with cherry or just cranberries
1/2 cup of almonds these are optional and I didn’t add them due to a nut allergy
Add 5 cups of Oatmeal to your bowl
Add one tsp of cinnamon to the oatmeal
Then add 3 eggs to the mixture you can do 3 egg whites and one full egg but I didn’t
Then pour in 1 cup of oatmeal. I did original but you can do the unsweet version.
Pour in 3 tablespoons of honey.. I just pour a lot in.
Then add in your vanilla. By the way these smell divine!
Combine your ingredients. Then you will add in your fruit
‘You can also use dried blueberries. In fact any dried fruits will do!
And some more fruit!
Grease your dish so you can gets these out easily.
Place these in the glass dish and bake it for 40 minutes at 350 degrees.
These are gluten free and they are so amazing. I love preparing them for breakfast and for snacks. You can also freeze these for a later date. They are amazing and tasty.[amd-zlrecipe-recipe:260]
