Being Kind Counts: Dollar Tree Give Gifts Project

Disclosure: This post is sponsored by Dollar Tree but all ideas and words here are 100% mine.

teacher treat

If you follow my site you know I started a 30 day challenge to do kind deeds. This post is sponsored by the Dollar Tree. They allowed me to make a couple of buckets for some very special people most of which I have never met. Where else but the Dollar Tree Could you find gifts for anyone? I had a goal to make gift baskets for the places that my children would visit when they volunteered in their community.

I decided to make my first basket for their teachers. It is a nice way to thank their teachers. You can see that $10 goes a long way. Dollar Tree has a great section for teaching supplies. I got things for their desks and things for the children to use while playing games. I even got a trashcan because with tons of children you can’t have enough of those.

This bucket was created for the Volunteer fire department and the EMTS that serve our community. Dollar Tree has lots of cleaning supplies, I figured those will be perfect. I love to drop off useful treats.

nursing home

This is my last and meaningful gift. It is for folks that we haven’t met but are currently living in a nursing home. It is a little something to let them know we are thinking of them. We will be grateful to share the day with them and we hope to leave them with a couple of items to remind them that we have been there.

As you can see for just $10 a basket you can really change your entrance by presenting a great gift. I love Dollar Tree it is the place we shop for our household needs and for the people we like to make happy. Just remember being kind counts and thank you Dollar Tree for understanding, it is the thought that counts.

Dollar Tree Summer Fun

Disclosure: This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of Dollar Tree via Burst Media. The opinions and text are all mine.

I am currently working with Dollar Tree to share with you all their awesome summer products. Dollar Tree makes summer affordable for everyone. They are going to have a store full of summer tableware, party supplies, and toys for land and for the water. I know that we always buy our pool toys at the Dollar Tree because the value can’t be matched anywhere else.

You know I am doing a series on clothes under $10 so I am especially excited to announce that the Dollar Tree will be bringing us a huge selection of colorful flip- flops for a dollar a pair! I know they are brilliant! In years past we have bought them for everyone in my family for less than they would cost for one pair at other stores. The value is amazing and so is the selection. The best part is I let me kids get two pairs each and they often mix and match the colors! Personal expression is key for my children and living life within my budget is my motto. I am after all saving to retire to Hawaii and wear flip flops forever.

What I need you to do now is mark your calendar for April 21st because all of these deals are limited to what is on hand. You wouldn’t want to miss out and pay way more than you have to, would you? I mean what a cool parent you can be on April 21st when you say, “Go ahead and pick a couple pairs of shoes each.” I mean at a $1.00 every can say have a pair of flip flops. Dollar Tree will have an array of flips flops for men, women and children, and colors and patterns may vary by store. They will have them in these solid colors blue, black, pink, lime, turquoise, yellow, and purple, orange and even in patterns. I would buy a couple of pairs and leave one pair for each kid in the car so they can put them on after sports or when they get dirty playing outside. Who wants dirt in the car? I have a pair to throw on when I have tired feet in my van.

This Flip-Flop Frenzy will start when stores open at 8:00 AM* (*excludes mall stores) Monday morning. You see I found a reason to make Monday super. Who isn’t happier in a pair of Flip Flops?

Oh, WOW! The best part is when you participate in their Summer Fun Flip Flop Contest , which is going on now. You could win a $500 gift card to Dollar Tree. I know they have tons of things at Dollar Tree that you can use to make cute Flip Flop crafts. You simply need to submit your fun flip-flop craft to DollarTree.com

I would also suggest signing up right away for their loyalty program called the Value Seeker Club then you get exclusive crafts, recipes, and tip ideas each month.? Visit ValueSeekersClub.com. You can also subscribe to get great ideas to your email box at ?http://dollartree.com/subscribe.jsp
