Crayon Hearts

Here’s a fun and easy craft that you can do for your kids this Valentine’s Day courtesy of my loyal reader Christi!

Instructions:

  • Prepare a silicone heart shaped baking dish
  • Cut crayons into small pieces and fill each heart about half full
  • Bake at 250F for about 12 minutes
  • Let totally cool
  • Comes out like a perfect colorful crayon heart!

Christi is  using this as Valentine Favors for her daughters daycare part. She’s attaching them to a red colored paper heart and writing a little something on the paper heart!

There are also smaller molds that you can buy and use also.

Wilton Petite Silicone 12 Cavity Heart Pan
Wilton Ruffled 6 Cavity Silicone Heart Mold Pan
Freshware 8-Cavity Heart Muffin Silicone Mold and Baking Pan

Thanks to my reader Christi Baham Willie for this brilliant idea!
