My family loves cake, who doesn’t right? But recently we’ve been trying to eat gluten free so I have to find a way for all of us to still enjoy cake. This Gluten Free Vanilla Crazy Cake Recipe is heaven’s gift to my cake problems. It’s so delicious and very easy to make, you can make this for birthdays, special occasions or to just make the day special. I promise kids won’t even notice the difference and they’ll love this.
My kids love spending time with me in the kitchen. It’s been our bonding time to prepare and enjoy delicious food together and since we all have sweet tooth most of the time we make yummy desserts. This week I decided to teach them an Easy Cake Recipes for Kids, I searched for some recipes and found several Dump Cake Recipes, today I’m going to share with you one of my favorites. This is super easy to make because you only need to put your ingredients in slow cooker and after a few hours you have a delicious dessert that for sure will be a family favorite!
1 can of crushed pineapples
1 can of cherry pie filling
1 box of yellow cake mix
2 sticks of butter
1 cup of coconut
Spread the ingredients in your slow cooker. You are going to make two layers so only use half of the ingredients in this order:
Spread the pineapple.
Sprinkle cake mix evenly on top.
Next dump cherry pie filling evenly.
Cut butter into slices and spread evenly.
Spread some coconut.
Once you’re done with the first layer, just repeat the process again for the second layer.
You will need to cook this on high for around 3 hours.
To serve, scoop cake out with a large spoon like a cobbler, and dump it on a glass, cup or plate.
It is awesome served with whip cream or vanilla ice cream.

This is my favorite cake. I have made it many many times and everyone always has a different name for it. It has been called the Better than Robert Redford Cake, Better than Harrison Ford Cake, Better than Sex Cake, etc. Even though the name is somewhat different, one thing is always the same. It is “Better Than”. So to prevent awkward silences at the church potluck or younger generations asking who Harrison Ford is, I have retitled it the Better Than Cake. This way everyone can pick their own thing it is Better Than. Make it today and see what answers you get at your next gathering.
