Easy Gluten Free Desserts for Picnic

It is that time of year again where we begin to get invited to parties and cookouts. I used to have to say no because my husband is Gluten Free. It was just awful to see him eye the dessert table and not be able to grab anything; that has all changed. That is why I am so excited to share with you the brownies and cookies we have made using Pillsbury™ Gluten Free Premium Chocolate Fudge Brownie Mix and Cookie Mixes that I found at Walmart. They are perfect and are easy gluten free desserts for picnic. I now volunteer to make desserts everywhere we go. It seems that dessert is the hardest to find at cookouts for people with Gluten problems. I always feel bad that my husband didn’t have any treats to pick from at these events. Before Pillsbury™ came out with their Gluten Free Premium Cake Mixes, Brownie Mix, Cookie Mixes, and icings available at Walmart the most common problem with making gluten free recipes was cost and time. I always felt like it cost to much to make Gluten Free Desserts and the ones I made tasted horrible. They never came out right, and I spent a lot of time and money making them. I was frustrated.

Baking with kids using Pillsbury gluten free products

I am sharing my experience with the Pillsbury™ Gluten free baking line because I believe being a good hostess means that you need to have things for each guest that you invite. Gluten issues are so prevalent, and the Pillsbury™ Gluten Free Premium Brownie Mix and Cookie Mixes and Cake Mixes are so easy to make so why not grab a box while you are at Walmart, so you have something to offer these guests. I truly believe there is nothing worse than someone coming to your house for a cook- out, and you have nothing to offer them. With Pillsbury™ the gluten free desserts recipes are so easy to make that my kids can make them almost by themselves. You can see how they made gluten free cupcakes for their daddy almost on their own.

I have my pantry stock with these because my children also have so many friends with gluten issues and the Pillsbury™ premium baking items are so easy to make that I can easily whip up gluten free desserts like brownies while the kids play. They especially like it when I make the brownies with the funfetti sprinkle icing. They ask me to bring them everywhere. The chocolate chip cookies are the perfect end to an evening. I just can’t imagine having an event or people over without the proper food to serve them.

The other issue that we have when attending events is knowing what is in what people are serving. The Pillsbury™ Gluten Free Line looks just like its regular counterpart. That is why I created these printables so you can help your guest make the right dessert choice for their diet. This way you do not have to figure out if a dessert contains allergens. You can place these printable near or on your Pillsbury baked goods. With Pillsbury™ Gluten Free Premium Brownie Mix and Cookie Mixes, you are assured that they do not contain gluten.
