I want to be that parent that makes learning fun, and I want a new tradition in my home. I am sure you are searching for something new to do with your kids. Life is about making memories! How about a Pirate party? Arr, that would make us the parents that parents want to be.
You pick a date. Ahh! Inspiration how about having this Pirate party on Talk Like a Pirate Day on September 19th?
You and your guests will need a pirate name to get you ready for the day. You can include this sheet in your invite!
Your name has been selected, and you are captain mom or dad, or the coolest person ever. The stage is set, and the idea is coming to you like a wave of cold ocean water in a beautiful melodic succession. You think I now need to mail an invite worthy of the best vessel on the sea for my pirates to be.
I suggest recycling a water bottle and putting your note in there. Yes, you can mail a plastic water bottle, or you can simply hand them out to your potential guests.
Then you think snacks and of course your mind lands on the best snack there is Pirate’s Booty. It is, in fact, the snack ignites adventure in the land-loving creatures. It is baked and not fried, and it is crisp and makes you feel good on the inside. It is gluten free and doesn’t have any artificial colors, flavors or preservatives. It is the prize that is worthy of all. Serve with a pirates brew. This is where you make up a drink and call it Pirate’s Brew.
You are now looking for activities for the party of pirates and first mates and maidens. You think treasure hunt. You make a map and some clues or if you aren’t that creative you print the free Pirate Maps and clues since I have done it for you to use. Score!
