Mexican Monkey Bread Easy Recipe
The weather is still pretty frigid down here in Tennessee and so that means I like cooking warm meals that will keep us from shivering ha! We have been under ice and snow all week and no one has been able to leave for work and school so I have been cooking a lot more than normal. I wanted to make something that was big enough for all of us, didn’t require a lot of clean up, and that everyone would love. In my house that means something spicy, cheesy, and fast. The solution? My Mexican Monkey Bread Easy Recipe! Now, most Monkey Bread Recipes are sweet but every now and then you need a savory dish right!? Here is how to make my Mexican Monkey Bread Easy Recipe:
You Will Need:
- 2 cans Biscuits
- 2 Cups Mexican Shredded Cheese
- 1 can Green Chilies
- 2 tbsp Cilantro
- Optional: Sliced Jalapenos
- 1 Stick Butter
First, in a bowl combine your shredded cheese, chilies, cilantro, and 1 stick of melted butter together and stir to mix. Quarter your biscuits and toss them in with your mix and gently toss to mix.
Next, In a bundt pan pour your mix in and pat down to even out. Bake at 350 for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown. Serve immediately.
I love serving this yummy Mexican Monkey Bread with tacos, soup, or even chili! It’s just the right amount of cheesy and spicy, and has quickly become a family favorite. If you have a smaller crowd to feed you can cut this recipe in 1/2 to serve 1-3 people!
