My son is really “into” rockets right now and my husband has really embraced this hobby. They have put together several rockets and seeing them work together, bonding over this shared interest is extremely touching.
Rocket building and launching is magical time for my 3 year old and provides memories that I know he will keep forever. My husband also gets needed one on one time with him and really loves teaching him all about the subject. They have spent endless hours watching how to videos and my son LOVES watching videos of rocket launches. We even involved the entire family (grandparents and cousin) in the first launching of one of their homemade rockets. Hearing my son countdown to the lift off and seeing his face light up when the rocket actually shot 500 yards in the sky was a memory I will never forget!
