Make Your Own Roller Blinds

 That Glows in the Dark

I have three kids and lets say two of them are afraid of the dark. I had light bills that were climbing. The children had to sleep with the lights on in order to go to bed. That was until I had a super idea. I was going to figure out a way to have something glow in the dark in their room. I was going to create blinds. Then I was going to teach you how to make your own roller blinds.  What you will need to Make Your Own Roller Blinds Paint brush Glow in the dark paint roller blinds Instructions: The first thing you will need to do is unwrap the blinds. Then you will wipe the blinds down with a rag to remove lint. Then you will paint the blind with a coat of glow in the dark paint. I used this paint. Then you will need to dry the blind and repaint the blind. You will need 2-3 coats of paint. The most wonderful thing is that you can’t tell the blinds are painted with the color glow in the dark paint I selected so you will not have to look at strange colors. The children will love their secret shade.

This is the easiest way to make your own roller blinds that glows in the dark.

How to make roller blinds

You will need to paint 3 or 4 coats of paint on your roller blinds. Then let them dry. You will then expose them to light and when you turn off the lights they will glow for a short time.

That nice thing is they look white unless you turn off the light.
