Low Calorie Chicken Nachos-We are not a big sports family, but there is one sport we do get really into, is UFC. What goes great with watching people get knocked it? Nachos! Nachos are a great meal for anyone that is watching sports. I’m not sure why, but it just fits! Nachos are normally not the best choice for someone who is trying to eat a little healthier, but thanks to this Awesome Cook This, Not That book, I can not enjoy some yummy nachos for only 330 calories! Yes, you read that correctly. And these aren’t any boring nachos, these are full of flavor, a little kick of spice, and super feeling Low Calorie Chicken Nachos! You are going to love them!

Here is the recipe for these Low Calorie Chicken Nachos:

You Will Need:

  • 4 ounces Whole Wheat tortilla chips
  • 1/2 bag of fajita chicken strips (grilled)
  • 1/2 cup Shredded Mexican Cheese
  • 1/2 can Black Beans
  • Salsa (as much as you want!)
  • 2 tsp Sour Cream
  • 1/4 cup Chopped Green Onions

Step 1: Are you guys ready for how easy this is? Take all those ingredients up there (minus the sour cream) and pile them on a cook sheet. Stick them under the broiler for about 5 minutes or until hot and bubbly.

Step 2: Move your nachos to a plate and top with sour cream. Serve family style!

This Low Calorie Chicken Nachos Recipe was simple and quick to make, and was a big crowd pleaser during fight night in our house! You could also add some olives or jalapenos onto this recipe for some added flavor! I love finding recipes that don’t break the calorie bank but also don’t make you sacrifice great taste. That’s a win win in my book! I hope you enjoy as much as I did.
