Crafting with Kids: Let the simple things do the talking!!!

Meet Stephanie! She’s a 24 year old stay at home Mom, who couldn’t ask for a better blessing than to be home with her daughter!! Their favorite things to do together is working on art projects and they enjoy sharing them with people at Crafting with Bug!! In her free time she enjoys reading and scrapbooking!!

The last few days have been busy! We have been ‘on the go’ since Sunday! I promise you I am not writing to complain about being on the go !!

I have a habit of getting deep into thought while I am in the car. So, needless to I have had lots of time to think! I have been feeling short of inspiration for art projects these days! I seem to run into this road block quite often and it doesn’t last long but it still a big downer.

So, I was trying my best to come up with new art (with seven years in daycare this is much easier said than done!). Then it hit me…why not let the simple things in life inspire me! More often than not, I think too hard about it!

Seriously, how often do you joke about just giving your child the empty box or wrapping paper instead of the actual present inside! The same concept goes for finding art projects for your little one to do!

Simple things like playing in foods or using the bathtub to swim in (swim suit and all!) or dare I say it playing in the MUD! (I can almost hear your cringe!) Yes, I said PLAYING in the MUD! These are all simple things yet your little one will have the time of their lives with it!!!
