Homemade Dairy Free Ice Cream Recipe
I know school has already started back, but down here in the south we still have about a month of hot temperatures left in the year. (maybe even longer, the weather here is weird). So I’m still in summer mode, and when it comes to summer desserts, you can’t beat a cold bowl of ice cream. But as many of you know, I’ve been all about some healthy eating and ice cream doesn’t really fit in there. Or it didn’t until I discovered that I could make homemade dairy free ice cream quickly and easily! It’s only 3 ingredients and takes about 4 minutes to make. I promise it’s going to become one of your favorite dessert recipes! Let’s check out how to make it:
Here is how to make this Homemade Dairy Free Ice Cream Recipe:
You Will Need:
- 4 Bananas
- 1 tsp Peanut Butter
- 1 tsp Coco Powder
Step 1: First, you are going to want to cut your bananas in slices, and freeze.
Step 2: Once your bananas are frozen, you will pour them in the blender (you could also use a food processor) and add your coco powder and peanut butter.
Step 3: Now it’s time to blend! Now, frozen bananas are not the easiest things to blend. But trust me, it will happen, and it will be awesome! You will blend everything up until it looks like, you guessed it, ice cream!
Step 4: Scoop your freshly made dairy free ice cream out of the blender and into a bowl, and then enjoy!
