My DIY Mother’s Day Sharpie Mug only takes a few minutes to make, and will last a lifetime! The best part is your kids can make it all by themselves. Let’s check out how to make it:
Here is how to make this DIY Mother’s Day Sharpie Mug:
You Will Need:
- A Ceramic Mug (I grabbed this one from the Dollar Tree!)
- 2 Different Color Sharpies
- A “Mom” print out (I just typed the one above in paint and printed it)
First, You will cut out your letters! I recommend using non-cursive letters for this project. Choose a bold font as they stand out more and work the best.
Next, using some tape, tape the letters down to the mug. Make sure the edges are taped down well!
Then, start with one of the sharpie colors and dot all the way around the outline of each letter.
Last, go around each letter’s outline again with the other color sharpie. Pull off the letters and you will see your outline! How cool is that, right!? Then you can decorate the outside of the mug and even sign the back of it if you like.
That’s it! A few minutes of your time and you have a perfect personalized gift that any mom is sure to love!
