Crock Pot Lemon Chicken Recipe
I am ready to share my Crock Pot Lemon Chicken Recipe. I decided I was going to become a freezer meal queen. I also organize a soup swap which is awesome. You can see how to soup swap . Then I decided if you can swap soup why not swap freezer meals. I did that as well. It was amazing I received 15 meals and I cooked 15 meals! This is one that I cooked and I love it so I thought I would share.
Lemon Chicken-
4 Boneless/ Skinless Chicken breast
1/3 cup of lemon juice
1 Tablespoon of Olive Oil
2 Tablespoons of chopped Red Pepper
1 1/2 of Fresh Chopped or pressed garlic
1/2 Teaspoon of salt
1/4 Teaspoon of pepper
1/2 Teaspoon of dried oregano
1 Teaspoon of lemon zest
Crock Pot Lemon Chicken Recipe
Step one add for breast of chicken in the bag
Add 1/3 cup of lemon juice
Add 1 Tablespoon of Olive Oil
Crush Fresh Garlic
I always add extra garlic! Yummy
1/2 Teaspoon of salt
1/3 Teaspoon of pepper
Add the oregano
2 Tablespoons of Red Peppers I add in more than that and I sometimes add in yellow ones as well
Grate the lemon rinds it smells and tastes awesome
Label your bag and place this in the freezer.
Combine the above ingredients into a crockpot and place on low for 6 hours.
You can also make this recipe ahead and freeze it. If you do freeze this recipe make sure that you thaw the chicken the night before prior to placing it in a crockpot.
