Craft Box for Kids
We had a large box. I didn’t get a before pic, but you can tell that it is large. My kids have been playing with it for about 2 weeks now. Well, the top flaps started to rip off. We thought about throwing away, but the kids were not happy about it. So we had a quick brain storm and decided that we should take the ripped part off and make doors. We taped the edges so we don’t have to worry about anyone cutting their fingers.
We just did this last night, and they already have some residents that moved in. I had to take this picture quickly as since they have been up for 10 min already and the residents have had to vacate the box. My 2 kids have taken up residence in it.
They have such great imagination. They were able to play with it for about 1 hour last night. And in that 1 hour it was an ice cream shop, a house, a restaurant, a fort, and a broken house they had to fix.
This morning it is the beauty shop. I wonder what it will be this afternoon.
So With the holidays coming up, why not give your kids a box for christmas. Or at least keep the boxes around for some great imaginative play.
