Chutzpah: Stealing my ride

Chutzpah. This is a word that is used often by myself because sometimes I just can’t believe what people do. I mean really! I thought it would be fun to share our Chutzpah moments. The only rules are no names of stores, people, or events. You may also not use inappropriate language. Leave a comment listing your favorite Chutzpah moment! I mean laughter is the best medicine.

chutzpah Or khutspe. Nerve, extreme arrogance, brazen presumption. In English, chutzpah often connotes courage or confidence, but among Yiddish speakers, it is not a compliment.

The cart thief. I went to the store today. I spotted my cart. I cleaned it off. I was just about ready to place the baby in the cart and it was gone. I looked back at where it had been. I wondered if the person who grabbed it noticed how much effort it took to clean it down. I was also curious to know if  they noticed the 21 lbs of moving chunky monkey in my arm as I attempted to throw away the wipes. I couldn’t let the opportunity pass so when I saw my handiwork in the aisle I told the baby I sure do wipe a cart really nicely maybe I deserve a tip. I couldn’t resist it has been one of those days.
