Healthy Tilapia Recipes in the Pressure Cooker

Do you come home or are you home and you realize you forgot about dinner. You realize you indeed are incharge of making it. You are like me and you buy stuff when it is on sale. You know that the ultimate list of frugal tips says buy low and stock up. You even know what to stock up on and when. If you do not read our stock up list to help you out. I even have tips of how to organize your stockpile.  I find that know how to save on fruits and vegetables saves me as much money as knowing when to buy meats.  That brings me to my Healthy Tilapia Recipes in the Pressure Cooker XL.

I saw a sale where it was buy one bag and then get one free. They were two pound bags and they were frozen. I paid $12.00 for the two bags. I knew I could get three meals out of the $12.00.

The items in this recipe are stables in my home. I always have garlic, lemon juice, and salt and pepper. The rest of the ingredients are optional. The tilapia fish is a mild fish so it will take on the flavor of what you add to it.

I made this recipe using foil but I could have just put the fish on the steamer basket if I wasn’t cooking the entire two pound bag. I usually do not cook that much but I made dinner for that night and then I want the rest of the fish for taco’s the next day for lunch.

Do you need a simple but tasty recipe for dinner that will only take you few minutes to make? Then save this healthy tilapia pressure cooker recipe!

Gluten Free Dairy Free Egg Free Recipes

Does your family have different food allergies or sensitivities? Mine does, and it makes meal planning a bit difficult for me. My husband is allergic to gluten, and I have a kid who is allergic to dairy and another one that’s allergic to eggs. Honestly, it is quite hard to grocery shop and prepare meals because I have to be careful and make sure to consider the ingredients that I’m going to put in each recipe so that it will be safe for everyone to eat. Preparing individual meals for each is not an option because I don’t have the time and that will certainly be too expensive for our budget. So to make life easier, I made a list of Gluten Free Dairy Free Egg Free Recipes that I know my family will enjoy and that are easy for me to prepare especially during busy days.

Corned Beef – Do you buy Point Cut or Flat Cut?

Corned Beef: Point Cut or Flat Cut?

Choosing Corned Beef Cuts

My mother-in-law was visiting this weekend and I decided to make our St. Patrick’s day feast a bit early. Not knowing what to get, I purchased both! We needed two anyways with the crowd we had.

I made the point cut in the crockpot. I just added the seasoning packet and let it cook all day. About half way through cooking, I added the cabbage. The flat cut was placed in a roaster pan with potato chunks, carrots, the seasoning packet and water. I roasted it at 300 degrees for 6 hours.

The taste test
