It is that time of year when you need a meal and you need it fast. So, warm, comfort food is on the menu. Chili can be easily made in your slow cooker which we listed below and you can also make a Chili Recipe For the Pressure Cooker and then served three different ways. Make a big pot of chili and warm up with this homey soup after being out in the snow. Then, use the leftovers to make nachos and chili dogs for the big game. You can even make Chili cheese dog casserole recipe.
Once you’ve eaten the chili as a soup, take the lid off the slow cooker and leave it on “low”. The chili will cook down and thicken as the liquid evaporates. Use the thick chili as a topping for hot dogs and to make your own nachos. Chili dog toppings to have on hand are spicy mustard, chopped onions, warm sauerkraut, sweet pickle relish, coleslaw, and of course, ketchup.
Making your own nachos is easy; just think layers. On the serving platter, spread tortilla chips evenly. Next, goes your thick, warm chili. Then, shredded cheese (cheddar, Monterey Jack, Pepper Jack, asiago, a mix…your choice). Top the cheese with finely, shredded iceberg lettuce, chopped tomatoes, sliced black olives, jalapeno slices, dollops of sour cream, and freshly chopped cilantro. This will make a beautiful presentation and guests will gobble it up!
The recipe is the same for both chili recipes, however, the cooking instructions and times will differ.
I know a lot of people struggle with not being able to eat gluten or dairy. It is a problem we face. I even have a whole menu dedicated to Gluten Free Dairy Free Egg Free Recipes.

I know one thing and that is I always have chicken on hand. It is always on sale so I stock up. I will say I get into a rut and I get bored with my recipes. That is why I made this list so you will also know how to cook chicken in Instantpot. I have the pressure cooker xl.
The first thing you need to know to make chicken pressure cooker recipes and this is true with all recipes in the pressure cooker you are going to need to add water or liquid. When I make chicken I often use the needed 1 cup to 1 1/2 cups of liquid as chicken broth or water with a chicken Bouillon cube. You want to preserve the taste of the chicken. The liquid is what is used to create the pressure. The Instant Pot or Pressure Cooker Xl rely on steam created in the pot to cook your food.
When you are cooking chicken or any meat I suggest you have a meat thermometer. The trick with seeing if the liquid runs clear out of your chicken doesn’t work in a pressure cooker chicken recipe.

I will not lie I have a kitchen product addiction. I can’t help it. I really wish I could. I vowed this year to get rid of as many appliances as possible. I decided I can get rid of my bread machine if I could find an Easy Bread in the Pressure Cooker Recipe. I knew I could make one but I would have to give up the crunchy crust. I decided I would make the adjustments to free up space in my small kitchen. I also need to be able to whip up a dairy-free version which is what is below. I look up on the internet for help and honestly it wasn’t that helpful so I decided to try to figure it out on my own. I made sure I had my fire extinguisher close just in case. Do not worry I didn’t need it but I spend too much time watching This is Us so now I am a fire safety queen.
