Do you come home or are you home and you realize you forgot about dinner. You realize you indeed are incharge of making it. You are like me and you buy stuff when it is on sale. You know that the ultimate list of frugal tips says buy low and stock up. You even know what to stock up on and when. If you do not read our stock up list to help you out. I even have tips of how to organize your stockpile. I find that know how to save on fruits and vegetables saves me as much money as knowing when to buy meats. That brings me to my Healthy Tilapia Recipes in the Pressure Cooker XL.
I saw a sale where it was buy one bag and then get one free. They were two pound bags and they were frozen. I paid $12.00 for the two bags. I knew I could get three meals out of the $12.00.
The items in this recipe are stables in my home. I always have garlic, lemon juice, and salt and pepper. The rest of the ingredients are optional. The tilapia fish is a mild fish so it will take on the flavor of what you add to it.
I made this recipe using foil but I could have just put the fish on the steamer basket if I wasn’t cooking the entire two pound bag. I usually do not cook that much but I made dinner for that night and then I want the rest of the fish for taco’s the next day for lunch.
Some of you might have already heard about how much I love my instapot! It has easily become one of my favorite cooking tools. It’s like a crock pot, expect 20 times faster! What mom doesn’t love easy meals right? This week I tried my hand at making Instapot Pot Roast! Now I’ll admit, it isn’t the prettiest dish out there (obviously) but man did it taste good! It’s nice and hot, the meat was tender and the veggies were full of flavor. And the best part? It took under 2 hours to make! Whatttt? Yes! Let’s check out how easy it is to make it!
Lately because of all the snow my little one has been home with me more than normal. Don’t get me wrong, I love spending time with that little girl, but trying to find something for her to eat for lunch besides a sandwich can prove difficult when I’m still trying to get some work done. Recently our family has started doing Weight Watchers so I wanted to make sure I could make something for lunch that we would both enjoy, but not undo our day. Mac and Cheese is my daughters favorite thing to have no matter the time of day so I went in search of a Weight Watchers Mac and Cheese Recipe and found one that was easy to make and tastes exactly like “normal” Mac and Cheese. Your kids will love it and at only 4 Weight Watchers Points you will too! You can also make some Weight Watchers Berry Cobbler Cake to serve as a treat.
And since I’m loving my pressure cooker these days, I decided to make my Power Pressure Cooker XL version of my Weight Watchers Mac and Cheese Recipe. The result is amazing! This Pressure Cooker Macaroni and Cheese Recipe is my new comfort food. The macaroni is perfectly cooked and is so flavorful.
