I always love thinking up new easy recipes for me to cook for my family, and this cheesy sausage and potatoes recipe is super easy to make and oh-so-yummy. Or so I was told. I am currently on Nutrisystem so I was not able to eat it! But just because I am on it doesn’t mean that the rest of my family doesn’t have to eat, and I still cook for them every night. This recipe was a big hit with my husband and my husband and my 6 year old! And it only took me about 10 minutes of prep time, and 30 minutes in the oven! Continue reading
I received a new Rec Tec Grill to review this Spring and we have enjoyed creating new recipes to cook for family and friends to enjoy. I have immediately fallen in love with the fact that I do not have to use my oven and my Slow Cooker enjoys the fact that I can give it a rest every now and again. My latest creation has been a delicious and moist Grilled Beef Recipe Roast. This recipe did require some marinating over night so a littler preparation is required but it only takes about 15 minutes the night before. Keep reading to find out how you can create this tantalizing Grilled Beef Recipe Roast for your family and make a meal that everyone will ask for over and over again. Continue reading
Crescent Rolls are one of my favorite things to experiment with when it comes to new recipes, so when I stumbled across the idea of making a French Dip Crescent Rolls Recipe I knew I had to try it! It was just the right amount of buttery crescents, melted cheese, and warm roast beef. Another great reason to make these yummy recipe is portion control. I don’t know about you, but French Dips are always made so big, and I’m going to be honest, if it’s in front of me I’m going to eat it all. With these I can just eat 2 and be good to go! For the “dip” for the French Dip I used a dry onion soup mix, and it worked really well! This French Dip Crescent Rolls Recipe was a huge hit with my whole family and I’m sure it will be with yours as well! Continue reading
As a busy wife and mother, I am not only frugal with my pocket book but I am frugal with my time. I like to grocery shop only twice a month so that I am not tempted to buy things I do not need making random stops for one or two things. That is why I love shopping at Aldi . They allow me to stock up on my basics, purchase fruits and vegetables, dairy, and fresh meat. Last week we picked up a pack of Pork Chops which I cooked for dinner in the crock pot. It was a going to be a long week so I cooked the whole pack thinking I could make a second meal out of the leftovers. However when I went to the fridge,I found only 3 pork chops left. Someone had gotten hungry and eaten one or two. I was now left with a dilemma. How do you feed 6 people with only 3 pork chops? I did and so can you!Continue reading
