I needed to add some color to our football snack table and some sweetness. So I decided to shake things up last Sunday with a new recipe.

If there is one flavor I love the most, no matter what time of the year it is, it has to be coffee. You really can’t beat the richness of coffee, and how it seems to warm your soul. I love hot coffee, iced coffee, instant coffee, or coffee flavored anything. So when Folgers introduced a new flavor of coffee, their Coffeehouse Blend I knew I had to give it a try. What makes the Folgers Coffeehouse Blend different is that no matter you put in your coffee, the flavor of the coffee comes through and stands strong. And it does! I’m a cream and sugar girl, but sometimes that’s all I taste. Not with the new blend! I was pretty impressed. I wanted to take it a step further and see if you could still taste that bold coffee flavor in something other than just a cup of coffee. So I tried making one of my favorite dessert recipes, my Chocolate Coffee Mousse! It’s SO easy to make your own mousse and once you have a base recipe you can add whatever flavors you like! Let’s check out how to make it shall we?
Apple Pie Recipe using cookie butter . This is a fun and quick recipe to make apple pie. It is one you will not forget. I happen to love cookie butter.
Ever just get that craving for something sweet late at night but you don’t want to spend the time making something (or eat so many calories late at night)? Me too! Some of you know that I love my Instapot, mostly for easy weeknight dinners, but as I have recently discovered it’s easy to make super awesome desserts in it too! My little family loves all things apples. Applesauce, apple slices, apple pie, all of it. So naturally I had to try out some Instant Pot Baked Apples! It’s the easy and fast way to make baked apples, and man-oh-man are they tasty. The best part? It takes 8 minutes to make 6 of them. (Yes, really). Continue reading
Summer time is here ya’ll! For me and my family it means getting to sleep in and spend the day with my daughter! One of our favorite things to do together is get in the kitchen and cook! Desserts are my daughters favorite, and breakfast is mine so I thought we would combine our two favorites into one yummy meal. These Pink Velvet Waffles are super sweet, easy to make, and taste oh-so-yummy. They are mom made, and kid approved. Also dad was pretty excited about them too! Let’s check out how to make them!
Summer is here, so it’s time to spend some time outdoors with family. Today in the south it is 103 degrees, and it’s not even July! So I am always looking for ways to make sure my kids stay hydrated, and one of their favorite ways to cool down is with a yummy Popsicle. And if you ask me, a homemade Popsicle beats a store bought one any day! Not only are they cheaper, but they are SO much better for you! So today I wanted to share with you one of my kids favorite Popsicle recipes, my Watermelon Lime Yogurt Popsicle recipe!
