I love a good swimming party. The key to having a great swim party is fun swim party games. I came up with a couple of games that are easy to play and inexpensive. You will need a couple of items, but you can buy most of them at the dollar store. I personally buy mine on Amazon.
I would also suggest reading this post on how to keep kids safe from a swim instructor. When you decide to have a swim party if the children aren’t able to swim on their own make sure you hire a lifeguard, in fact, you should have one on site, just to make sure. You will be busy and not able to watch the kids. You can usually hire one for $15 an hour. It is worth the expense because safety is the best investment you can make.
This Champagne Fruit Punch Recipe is made just for kids. It’s a drink my children and their friends love to drink because it fizzles, fizzes, and best of all, it “pops”. We pour it into nice crystal glasses and we celebrate. We have celebrated everything from reading a book to ringing in the New Year. This is my go to recipe for “Champagne.” I love it because it is easy to make since it only requires two ingredients. Fancy it up a little more by embellishing it with a piece of fresh fruit.
She used to be tiny. She used to want me to do everything for her. Then my daughter broke my heart.
She used to climb on my lap as easily as she now climbs a tree. Her arms would encase me, and she would pull herself in so tight that my breath became hers. She would give me a kiss and then jump off as quickly as she climbed. Her limbs would become tangled as she descended she would hardly notice as she moved toward her next target. She came to me and made a request, and I was going to find the solution.Continue reading
I want to be that parent that makes learning fun, and I want a new tradition in my home. I am sure you are searching for something new to do with your kids. Life is about making memories! How about a Pirate party? Arr, that would make us the parents that parents want to be.
You pick a date. Ahh! Inspiration how about having this Pirate party on Talk Like a Pirate Day on September 19th?
I have a very special little princess. I find that every year my little princess wants a party filled with sparkles and magic. I love a great party, but I hate the expense that comes with a great party. This year I vowed to throw a party on a budget. We decided to have a pizza and cake party and do a reasonably priced craft. This is what I did, and this is what I spent.
Disclosure- I received birthday party supplies from BirthdayExpress.com to help facilitate this review, but as always, all thoughts and opinions are my own 🙂
You guys, my baby (well, not so much a baby anymore) turned 7 this week! I can’t believe it and have no idea when it happened. Is it just me or does time go by so much more quickly when you have kids? Every year I let my daughter pick her birthday theme. In years past it has been Tinkerbell, Alice in Wonderland, and Frozen. This year is my favorite theme she has picked yet, Minions! For those that might not know what the Minions are, they are the lovable little Twinkie shaped creatures from the animated film Despicable Me. We love those little guys and went all the way to Florida to see them at Universal Studios over spring break. Continue reading
