Today was the last full week of school for my kids. That means only 3 more days until summer starts. YAY right? The kids are so excited they could burst. But as a mom I know that that excitement will quickly wear away by week two, day 3, 9am. It happens the same time each year without fail. And when it does, the kids will let you know. They will come up to you dragging their feet, and sour faces and exclaim with a sigh, “MOM, I’m SO bored!” and “There’s nothing to do!”. Here we have 2 choices. We can tell them to go watch some TV (and no judgement here, sometimes we all go that route) or we can direct them to an activity. So that’s where the idea for the “I’m Bored” Jar comes in!
Mother’s Day is almost here! Have you picked out the perfect gift for the mom in your life? I’m still working on finding the perfect gift for my own Mom ha! One of the things I love doing on holidays is themed crafts and activities with my daughter. So this year she told me she wanted to make a list all about me which she could write for Mother’s Day. So she and I sat down and designed a Free Mother’s Day Printable for her to fill out for me. I thought I would share our creation with you so you could share it with your kids and Mom as well! I’m going to frame mine when my little girl is done filling it out. It will make a great memory! Continue reading

A new year is fast approaching and one thing my family always does is to write down our new years resolution ideas and display them in the house so we can always keep them in mind. My little girl is old enough to write her own resolutions this year, so I wanted to make her a special Free Printable for Kids that she could fill out and hang in her room. I thought this would be something I could share with all of you to print out and use for your kids! It’s great motivation for keeping those resolutions!
It’s that time of year again, time to get together with family, have a great meal, and above all remember what we are thankful for! Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays because I love getting together with family and I like to cook! (And I’ll admit it, I LOVE Black Friday which pretty much starts on Thanksgiving now anyways right? Ha!). Every year before we have had our meal we hand out a piece of paper for everyone to write what they are thankful for down on and we share them during dinner. It’s one of my favorite family traditions. We have a box we keep them in so we can remember what we are thankful for during rough times that we might need reminding.
So this year I thought I would get a little snazzy and make a cute printable for our family members and I thought I would share it with you guys!
You can print these out, have your kids (and the adults!) fill them out and then you can discuss it while around your Thanksgiving table!
This year I am thankful for my wonderful family, my awesome job, and my small group of friends that I would be lost without. What are you thankful for? Let me know in the comments below!
