I bought an 8 QT Pressure Cooker XL ® and now I can’t stop myself from making Pressure Cooker XL ® Recipes. Do you know why as a mom I struggle with managing time? I know I should be better at this I have been a mom for 14 years now. I have three kids and my own business. I am also in the business of being a cab driver, homework helper, cleaning person, nurse, friend, advisor, shopper, banker, and wife. I want to make dinner that taste good is in my budget and happens in a time frame I can handle. I also love having only one bowl to clean at the end. There is nothing worse after making dinner than a huge mess in the kitchen.
I know it is. I want you to decide you can tackle dinner. You are someone who accomplishes projects you just need a plan.
I suggest you do things right now.
When you have a list you can shop online for your groceries, grab them easier, or send someone to get them for you. It will also help you save money.
4. Make up a meal plan
5. You can put the ingredients other and then put them in a zipped bag or container in your refrigerator. I use these ones from Rubbermaid. I am in love with them.
Do not forget to buy these items for your 8 QT Pressure Cooker XL
A long time ago in a place that seems far away. I was a little girl. I used to sit at the table until I was done eating dinner. That was before parents knew better or maybe they knew more than we do now. I was forced to eat whatever was brought to my plate. I hated most everything until meatloaf entered my life.
I guess that is why I have so many easy meatloaf recipes on my site. I love this apricot meatloaf recipe because it pairs the sweet with the savory. It is an incredible way to get kids like me big or small to eat a great meal without bribery, so I had to make a pressure cooker version of it. This Apricot Meatloaf Pressure Cooker Recipe is a winner!
School will be back in session before you know it, so that means it’s back to homework, after school activities, and sometimes a little crazy. I don’t know about you, but sometimes by the time I get home at night I’m not in the mood to make a 4 course meal. Any mama’s out there feel like that? Ha! So on those days I’m thankful that I have a few one pot meals recipes. One of my family’s favorite easy weeknight meals is my One Pot Jambalaya With Turkey Sausage Recipe! It’s spicy, filling, and most importantly, it’s easy! Let’s check out how to make it:Continue reading
Do you come home or are you home and you realize you forgot about dinner. You realize you indeed are incharge of making it. You are like me and you buy stuff when it is on sale. You know that the ultimate list of frugal tips says buy low and stock up. You even know what to stock up on and when. If you do not read our stock up list to help you out. I even have tips of how to organize your stockpile. I find that know how to save on fruits and vegetables saves me as much money as knowing when to buy meats. That brings me to my Healthy Tilapia Recipes in the Pressure Cooker XL.
I saw a sale where it was buy one bag and then get one free. They were two pound bags and they were frozen. I paid $12.00 for the two bags. I knew I could get three meals out of the $12.00.
The items in this recipe are stables in my home. I always have garlic, lemon juice, and salt and pepper. The rest of the ingredients are optional. The tilapia fish is a mild fish so it will take on the flavor of what you add to it.
I made this recipe using foil but I could have just put the fish on the steamer basket if I wasn’t cooking the entire two pound bag. I usually do not cook that much but I made dinner for that night and then I want the rest of the fish for taco’s the next day for lunch.
When I looked outside this morning I saw something I haven’t seen in about 2 or 3 months, sunshine! What a beautiful site! The sunshine got me in the mood to make a fun Easter Project to share with all of you! My daughters absolute favorite Easter (or really, any other time of year) candy are Peeps! What’s not to love about a sugar covered marshmallow in cute little shapes right!?
So over the weekend we made these super cute Edible Easter Peeps Houses that would be perfect for a fun and easy Easter Project to make with your kids. My daughter had a great time making (and eating) her Peeps House! Lets check out how to make it:
You Will Need:
First, you will grab your gram crackers and break them in half. You will need 6 piece total. Using your frosting construct your house. (1 for the bottom, 2 for the sides, 1 for the back, and 2 for the top).
Next, When your house is complete it will look like the one above. Let dry. before messing with it. (Trust me, if you get impatient and try to add stuff to it before it’s dry it will fall and make you really sad.)
Then, pour some of your shredded coconut into a bowl and put a few drops of green food coloring into the bowl and mix. This will be the grass for your peep to sit on!
Finally, Sprinkle some “grass” on the bottom of your peeps house and decorate with candy eggs, and of course don’t forget to add your Peeps! Don’t they look cute!?
