Note: This recipe is for a precooked ham. I buy those all the time to save time. They still take about 2 hours to cook in the oven. That is a long time that you need to plan for before eating dinner. I never have two hours unless it is the weekend but I often crave ham so I figured out how to cook a ham in the pressure cooker.
It is actually very easy. You will need the following items.
Optional Potatoes and herbs if you want to cook your meal together.
1. If you are cooking your potatoes with your ham. The put in the potatoes first.
2. Pour in the 1 cup of water (Whether you have potatoes or veggies or not.)
3. Place a large sheet of foil on your counter (It must be big enough to wrap your ham)
4. Put your ham in the foil. Do not wrap the top. You will leave it open to pour in your sugar and pineapple mixture once it is in the pressure cooker.
5. Mix the packet ingredients or the brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg with 1/2 cup of the pineapple juice from the can of pineapple. You can use the pineapples later or put them on the ham in the pressure cooker. Our kids like their pineapples not cooked with their ham. I like mine cooked so I do half and half.
7. Place the foil wrapped ham on top of the sling
8. Make sure the foil will contain the liquid you are about to add.
9. Pour in the liquid mixture.
10. Close the Foil
11. Shut the Pressure cooker
12. Turn it to 10 minutes for your pre-cooked ham that is 6-7 lbs
13. Let the pressure release when it is done
14. Use your mitts to take off the top
15. Unwrap your ham and let it cool
I do this during the week so I can use the ham to make other recipes. These are some of my favorite recipes with ham.

It is spring here. You wouldn’t know that since there is snow on the ground and my children are home for the second day in a row. I am on the brink of insanity since I still have work to do. Then I got to thinking even though they do not have school. I bet I could find a way to teach them something. I just needed Ideas for Kids Over Break.
Are you tired of hearing I am bored? Do you have a nervous breakdown when your kids are at home from school? (I do.) Do not worry I love mine to the moon and back but I can’t keep them entertained forever and more importantly I do not have the funds to buy them everything they think they want. What I do have is a desired to help them learn new things. I love when they can find those gifts that they have and use them. I can’t tell you how overjoyed I am when they are excited and happy.
I have three kids, and they are all different. They differ in age, gender, and interest. They also vary in learning style so how did I find a resolution for all three children at the same time on a limited budget?
Am I magical?

A long time ago in a place that seems far away. I was a little girl. I used to sit at the table until I was done eating dinner. That was before parents knew better or maybe they knew more than we do now. I was forced to eat whatever was brought to my plate. I hated most everything until meatloaf entered my life.
I guess that is why I have so many easy meatloaf recipes on my site. I love this apricot meatloaf recipe because it pairs the sweet with the savory. It is an incredible way to get kids like me big or small to eat a great meal without bribery, so I had to make a pressure cooker version of it. This Apricot Meatloaf Pressure Cooker Recipe is a winner!
Easter is almost here, and it’s a fun holiday for kids. It’s also a great opportunity for us parents to bond with our children and make memories with them. One thing that my kids and I love to do is to make holiday craft projects. It’s a special way to bond with them and also to nurture and encourage creativity. Over the years we have made several Easy Easter Crafts so I thought of rounding up my favorites and share with you some of our new discovery of Easter craft ideas.
I had this thought “Can you cook meatballs in the sauce?” I am the queen of trying to use the least amount of dishes, pans, and time. I also run low on time, but high on recipes I found online. It got me thinking could I do two things at once?
Yes, you can, and it is very easy. You will first need to make your meatballs I shared a great recipe for mine below. I make several batches and then freeze them. If you do this, you will need to thaw them before you try to cook meatballs in the pasta sauce.Continue reading
