Aldi’s makes shopping for a camping trip fantastic. They have all the treats we like to take with us. The vegetables are always great for foil packets.

While there are many obvious reasons why I shop at Aldi – great prices, interesting international foods/products – one of the big reasons is that I love their fresh produce. It may not be a big or :complete department – but both the quality and the prices can’t be beat! For this instance three kinds of berries, two kinds of melon, cherries and fresh baby salad spinach are all on sale at AMAZING prizes – and they are always excellent quality.

I don’t know how they do it – but I am SO GLAD that an Aldi store recently moved into our neighborhood (although it was worth the 6 mile drive we had to go before!)

I LOVE grilling different types of kabobs for dinner. Having my children help make them and then grilling them is really exciting. We like to pick different bell peppers, big fruit, onions, beef, and chicken. Then we will coordinate different types of kabobs from fruit and veggie, veggie and meat, fruit and meat, and so on.
