What is for Dinner Wednesday? Help Stamp Out Hunger

Well, this week I will not be cooking dinner. They do not allow hospital patients to cook their own dinner. It got me thinking about food and dinner and I decided instead to ask you all to help others fix their own dinner. The post office runs a food donation drive which occurs on May 8th. I was hoping everyone could donate a can or two for people who are struggling to make ends meet. I feel very fortunate to be able to provide meals for my family. I also feel fortunate that by using our site I can provide others with groceries for less than I used to pay our families’  groceries.

This site was created to not only spread knowledge, encourage other, but to provide for people in our community. We  hope you will pull out a couple of cans or coupon between now and Saturday for some food items to donate. I hope you will join my family and Renae’s family as we donate a couple of bags of food to those in need. Everyone deserves to eat and everyone is capable of making an impact on our community. If you are a fellow blogger please consider encouraging your readers to help Stamp out Hunger! Don’t forget that you can join in with Couponing for Community too!

You Can Help…
Helping Stamp Out Hunger is as easy as checking your mailbox.  Just leave a bag of non-perishable food where your letter carrier normally delivers your mail on Saturday, May 8.  Your letter carrier will then pick up and deliver the food to a local food bank.  Examples of non-perishable items include:
_________• Canned soup
_________• Canned meats and fish
_________• Canned vegetables, fruits and juices
_________• Boxed goods (such as cereal)
_________• Pasta and rice
