Watermelon Lime Yogurt Popsicle Recipe

Summer is here, so it’s time to spend some time outdoors with family. Today in the south it is 103 degrees, and it’s not even July! So I am always looking for ways to make sure my kids stay hydrated, and one of their favorite ways to cool down is with a yummy Popsicle. And if you ask me, a homemade Popsicle beats a store bought one any day! Not only are they cheaper, but they are SO much better for you! So today I wanted to share with you one of my kids favorite Popsicle recipes, my Watermelon Lime Yogurt Popsicle recipe!

Here is how to make my Watermelon Lime Yogurt Popsicle Recipe:

You Will Need:

  • 2 cups cubed watermelon
  • 1 Lime
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt (we used vanilla)

Step 1: In a bowl, mix your Greek yogurt with the juice of 1 lime.

Step 2: Add in your cubed watermelon and mix well.

Step 3: Pour your mix into a Popsicle mold. (The recipe above will fill 6 standard size molds)

Step 4: Put in the freezer until frozen, take our and enjoy!

Now how much easier could a recipe get right? I LOVE being able to make my own Popsicles at home with whatever sounds good that day. It’s also great for kids that love sweet stuff. It lets them get their sweet fix without loading them up on extra sugar that they don’t need. So it’s a win win for kids and adults! The great thing about using Greek yogurt in your popsicles is it makes it where it doesn’t melt as fast and it also makes the Popsicles super creamy! Perfect for a summer afternoon treat!
