Hi I’m Gwendolyn and I have been a stay at home mom since 2009. I have been with my husband, James, for 10 years and we are proud parents of Jayme (8) and Nicholas (13). We are also parents to 3 dogs, 2 cats, 2 hamsters, and a snake. My father-in-law lives with us so it is always non-stop at our house. I had the honor of becoming a step-parent when I got married and have a great relationship with my step-son. I always used coupons and shopped for bargains but was forced to step up my game when my husband was disabled in 2005. I get an incredible rush from saving money and finding great deals. My life is a constant journey and I look forward to sharing it with you all.
I have been haunted by a yummy treat I saw on Pinterest for over a month. I went and bought the ingredients but was waiting for the day I was truly needing chocolate. Today was that day and with the help of my kids we created what I now call.
Triple Chocolate Peanut Butter Yummies
- 2 packages refrigerated Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough
- 24 Reeses (normal size not mini)
- Brownie Mix (make sure it is the box that says will make 24 brownies)
- 2 cupcake pans
Preheat oven to 350*
Spray Pam into each well of cupcake pan. (I am in love with Pampered Chef so I have stoneware cupcake pans. If I was using metal I may use cupcake liners)
Mix Brownie mix according to package directions
Open cookie dough package and cut into 12 pieces for each package. This will equal about 1 1/2 cookie pieces.
Place cookie piece at bottom of cupcake well and flatten to fill in the bottom. Repeat until all spots are filled.
Top each cookie piece with a Reeses cup turned upside down.
Place brownie batter on top of each Reeses cup being sure to cover the Reeses cup.
Bake for 18-25 minutes. Check frequently toward the end and remove from oven when the brownie batter is cooked.
Let cool, remove and EAT!!!
This is such an easy recipe my kids did most of the work while I supervised. After tasting them we named them Triple Chocolate Peanut Butter Yummies.
