*Over* Tommee Tippee Cup Review & Giveaway

It seems like we are always on a search for sippy cups. They either get lost, they start leaking or they are forgotten about with milk in them. I have tried almost every brand out there, on the hunt for the perfect non-spill cup.  When I found out about the Tommee Tippee Explora Cup review, I was very eager to try this brand.

Tommee Tippee is the number one brand of infant and toddler feeding products in Great Britain. In January 2010, Tommee Tippee launched int he United States. You can find Tommee Tippee products at BabiesRus or ToysRus. The products include bottles, sippy cups, feeding accessories and pacifiers. All of the Tommee Tippee products are BPA free. Their bottles and products are made to be as close to nature as possible. The Explora cups are made to easily transition your baby from breast or bottle to cup.

When I put the cup together, the first thing I did was the leak test. I shook the cup and it started dripping. This seemed odd to me since a big part of their complain is their innovative leak proof valve. I went to the Tommee Tippee website and found that I had assembled the valve incorrectly. Once I assembled the cup correctly, there were truly no leaks! A leak free cup is important to me since my 20 month old has a habit of shaking his cup.

I also loved the flip top cover on the Explora Cup. My boys enjoy this feature too! They think it is really cool to be able to flip the lid open and closed. I like that the lid flips on to keep the spout clean during transport.

The double pack of Explora Cups retails for $7.99. This is about the average price for two sippy cups.

I look for sippy cups and bottles to be truly spill-proof (lots claim to be but aren’t actually)

I look for a sippy cup that won’t spill when my son throws it across the room or drops it from his highchair.

In sippy cups my main look for is one that doesn’t leak when you knock it over as these accidents do happen. I also want one that when it goes in the dishwasher doesn’t have loads of pieces that separate and get lost when washing. One with a cup part and a lid is plenty!

I like a sippy cup that keeps things hot/cold for longer periods of time, and obviously one that doesn’t leak!

I look for bottles and cups that are BPA free, do not leak and are easy for a child to drink from.
