The Power of One: 59th day Eat in peace

This is my journey for a year.  I am starting it to get to know you and perhaps get to know myself better. I want Madame Deals to be a place which you come to because you know you are valued.  We are here to help you make dollar$ out of change. I believe change is hard to accomplish without a team and support. We hope to be your motivational team as you strive towards the life you want. The power of one is my challenge to myself to make a difference. I truly believe every person has the power to create a positive change.

If you believe you can do something, then you can. If you take a talent you have and share it then you have. If you move and work towards a purpose greater than yourself then you have the power.

I often forget how nice a meal can be. I forget because a meal at our house resembles as baseball game. I feel like I am throwing food at the children. If they eat it I almost yell SAFE. I am diving for the food that our baby drops on the floor in hopes of avoiding sweeping the field. I hired a babysitter and enjoyed a meal with my husband. I enjoyed being a spectator instead of the pitcher in the game.

It is often a challenge to take a moment and reflect on the power each one of us has to make a difference. I wrote an article about the Power of one COUPON. I was overwhelmed by the responses I received. I believe we all are powerful.

What is your favorite moment when you helped someone using a coupon?

I dont have just one favorite moment but everytime I sign up to have a coupon sent to me or for samples, freebies, etc, I always sign my grandmother up as well. She’s a widow on a very limited income so I figured every little bit helps. She had no idea where all the goodies were coming from until my mom finally let her in on the secret recently. Now she tells me she has so much fun going to her mailbox everyday to see what goodies are in there. It makes me feel good that although I’m on the other side of the country that each time something comes in the mail, she’ll know I was thinking of her.
