The Lion And The Mouse App Review and Giveaway

I’m so excited about this new animated kids book we got to try. I can’t tell you how many times, games and books like this have saved us! Whether, we’re in the grocery store or restaurant with the kids, we can grab the iPad and start it up for them to watch. So, when we got to try¬†The Lion and the Mouse app I was thrilled!

We downloaded the book and I was surprised to find that there were 3 different ways to view the book:

  1. Read to Me: This option displays animated pages as it reads to you. They also highlight each word as it’s read, which is great for younger children that are learning to read, as they can follow along and match the words on the screen to the words be said!
  2. Read by Myself: This option is the same as above, the only difference is that it’s not audibly read and the words aren’t highlighted. They’re just displayed like below for them to read for themselves. This is great for older kids that already know how to read!
  3. Bedtime Story: I thought this was a very cool option. Instead of the animated pages, it displays a starry sky, playing soft music, while the storyteller tells the story! Saves on mom and dad having to read every night!

The colors are bold and bright and each page features an easy read for all ages! You can also choose other languages to read the book in!
