Fajita Chicken Tortellini Recipe

tortellini recipe

Take Dinner to the Next Level with this Tortellini Recipe My family loves cheese tortellini but it gets boring eating the same pasta and sauce. I also find that with growing tweens and teens, I can't ever seem to have enough. I have found that adding protein with my pasta helps stretch the meal. My children start complaining though when the protein is boring and my husband prefers a kick. After a day of visiting in the hospital,I came home tired and decided to mix two of my favorite recipes … [Read more...]

Amee has been sharing her families weekly menu with you. I don't have an exact menu, but I will share with you how I figure out what's for dinner. I work part time so my dinner planning works with my schedule. On the days that I work (Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday) it is necessary to have a quick dinner. My almost three year old just stopped napping so he must be in bed at 7pm. I get home between 5:30 and 5:45 and my 15 month old is pretty much climbing my leg telling me he is hungry. So, I try … [Read more...]

Eating Gourmet on a Budget

I wanted to share my families dinner with you. Many times people think that buying frugal or buying groceries on the cheap equals low quality meals. However, we ate gourmet tonight! Amee and I went shopping together at Harris Teeter yesterday. As we shared, the Tuna Steak was an e-VIC special. Unsure of how to prepare fresh tuna, I told Amee I was going to pass on the deal. Amee encouraged me to try it on the grill. I figured why not? It ended up being $1.75 for just under a pound. Normally it … [Read more...]
