Summer Travel to the Big Apple #2

I am going to the BlogHer Conference in New York City and I’m so excited for this trip. I have been doing tons of research on what to do while I’m there. I’ve found restaurants, sightseeing tours, hotels, shops and pretty much everything you can imagine.

Once you have an idea on where to stay and how to get to New York City. What else do you need? I always check out deal sites like Groupon and Living Social before I go anywhere because you can save loads of cash on just about anything. The example I found this morning was a deal from Broadway Nail & Spa in Greenwich Village for a Mani-Pedi for only $17! Super cheap and I can use it when I go to New York next month! I’ve already saved some money and I haven’t even gotten my bags packed yet.

Then I found brunch for two with two Bloody Marys or Mimosas for only $25 at the Ainsworth in Chelsea! Where are you going to find brunch for two in NY for that little?? The cost is normally $76 dollars, so I can buy the Groupon now and have brunch day while I’m there. The list of discounts is endless, but this gives you a start for planning your trip to NY City on the cheap!!

If you’re interested in museums, MOMA Museum of Modern Art is FREE on Fridays from 4-8pm

I’ve taken my daughters and their friends there after spending the morning at the Museum of Natural History. Which, by the way, you don’t have to pay full price to get in! You can stand in line, and pay what you can afford. (If only I had known in advance!)

    Have fun while in NYC!
