Shrimp exchange

Call me what you wish. I am sure master chef is not on your list. I do however love to try to be creative. We have three kids and they are each allergic to something so I try to make dinners that I can change up a little. I am a huge shrimp fan and they are usually on sale for buy one bag  get one free. I have a husband that loves a good salad. I am a meat eater so I try to incorporate meat into my salad. I decided shrimp salad sound yummy and since they were on sale. I bought them. I got a bag of frozen shrimp. I thawed them out by running them under cold water. Then I peeled them. I placed them in olive oil and fresh garlic and I cooked them on medium heat until they were pink on all sides. I decided to cook both bags because it is just easier to get the cooking part over with. I placed the shrimp I wasn’t going to use in a glass container in the refrigerator. I have this set because it was under $20. Pyrex Storage 10-Piece Set, Clear with Blue Lidsir?t=madadeal 20&l=as2&o=1&a=B00005B8K5. We always use it otherwise our meals will get lost forever if I can’t see what we have. It also ends the mom we have nothing to eat.

I tossed the shrimp on a simple salad. We used our favorite Greek dressing on top. We had an easy and healthy meal. I still had that shrimp to use. I looked in my freezer because I do a lot of freezer cooking. I use this awesome Once-A-Month Cooking Family Favorites: More Great Recipes That Save You Time and Money from the Inventors of the Ultimate Do-Ahead Dinnertime Methodir?t=madadeal 20&l=as2&o=1&a=0312534043 book. The title is longer than the time to cook everything. I cook for about 15 days and I double everything. I then have my friend cook 15 days and double everything. Then we swap! It is so much fun and easy. I grabbed my lasagna and I cooked it. I heated up my shrimp and I put them together! It was awesome since one of our children can’t have shrimp. The rest of use were able to enjoy lasagna and shrimp and he enjoyed just the lasagna.
