  • 2 tablespoons butter, divided
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 1/2 cup cloudy apple cider
  • 1 pound green beans, trimmed  $1.69LB at Harris Teeters
  • 2 scallions, chopped
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • 3/4 cup white sharp cheddar cheese, grated Use some of that kraft cheese that we snagged for free or close to it
