I try every week to add a new meal to our menu. I attempt to follow the food guru and 30 minute meal making queen, Rachael Ray. The best part of my quest is I use items that I bought on sale so these meals are yummy and affordable… and oh, yes they can be completed in 30 minutes or less!
Well Rachael and I are on a trial separation. It is a fact that I do love her but my life is suddenly out of control. I just had a baby boy. He is wonderful but since he was premature he is still in the hospital. I am attempting to balance my family at home, my household responsibilities, all while producing enough food for our son. I am basking in the generosity of others this week for my meals. I have several friends who are making sure my family is well fed. I will resume my relationship and plight with Rachael Ray as soon as my son comes home. I will even make one of her recipes in celebration.
Here is a great website that my friend Melissa shared with me. It is called Take the Meal. It helps people organize meals for others. I thought it would be awesome for helping people help others.
