Simple No Bake Cheesecake Recipe in Jars
This may sound awful but I am into single serving desserts for two reasons one I need portion control and the second reason is my kids touch everything. I hate to share especially a simple no bake cheesecake recipe in a mason jar. I love this easy to follow recipe because my kids can make it. They look stunning on your table when you have friends over or just when you want to do something nice. I have even frozen these for a summer treat. The truth is they are so easy to make and you can substitute the crust for any cookie of your choice and the fruit topping with anything you would like. And I know for sure that they will be a fan favorite.
I think this no bake cherry cheesecake recipe in jars would look divine for any holiday celebrating America or how about for a birthday party. I have to say you can’t go wrong serving cheese cake.
Simple No Bake Cheesecake Recipe in Jars
Ingredients:
½ cup plus 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
zest of one lemon
2 packages cream cheese 8 oz each; room temperature
2 large eggs
room temperature ¼ cup heavy cream or whipped topping
1 ½ teaspoons pure vanilla extract
1 cup pie grade cherries or 1 cup of fresh berries like strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, raspberries, and even mango
Crust is 2 packages of graham crackers
To make the cheesecake combine ½ cup plus 2 tablespoons granulated sugar zest of one lemon 2 packages cream cheese, 8 oz each, 2 large eggs; ¼ cup heavy cream and 1 ½ teaspoons pure vanilla extract into a bowl. You will need a mixer to blend these until smooth.
Next, to make the crust I would place the gram crackers in a gallon size closed bag. Then you roll the rolling pin over them. If you want to pull out your blender that works as well.
You place the graham crackers in the bottom of the jar. Then you pour in the cheesecake. Then you place them in the refrigerator for 2 hours or until the cheesecake sets. Then apply the fruit topping of your choice.
You can top these with chocolate or whipped topping.
