Mom’s Night In with NickMom #MotherFunny #Shop #cbias
Have you ever had one of those days where it’s 10pm, the dishes haven’t been done, there may be milk spilled on the floor, the kids have been in bed for over an hour, and you find yourself still sitting on the couch watching Dora? Yep, me too! Motherhood is one of the most rewarding things in my life, and also one of the most tiring! Every now and then, us Mom’s just need some “me” time right? NickMom knows all about that, and is here to help! Every night at 1opm est. Nick Jr. Turns into the #MotherFunny channel, NickMom! NickMom is for all of us moms that need a laugh at the end of the day (and a real laugh, not like when you laugh to cover up when you are about to freak out!)
NickMom has just introduced a brand new show called Instant Mom starring Tia Mowry-Hardrict (umm Sister Sister anyone!?)! Instant Mom is about a once-party girl name Stephanie who marries an older man with 3 kids, forcing her to become, you guessed it, an instant mom! Stephanie is on a journey learning how to be a friend, and a mom, in the most #MotherFunny way! To celebrate the launch of this new NickMom show, I was chosen to host a Mom’s Night In and check it out!
Here is how I partied during Moms Night In with my best girls and NickMom:
I always love a good reason to hang out with some funny moms, sans kids, so I was super excited when the day of our Moms Night In party arrived! We went for a comfortable, laid back night that included some cocktails, laughs, and great friends! And didn’t include Dora, Spongebob, or Teddy Grams! NickMom sent me an awesome bag that include some funny drink ideas, “It’s not a party until someone spills” stickers, and a NickMom cocktail shaker! We went through all the fun drink ideas and picked out the one we liked best, the “Playdate Punch” which include instructions like “crush ice with a toy hammer” which, for the record, I totally did! Want to know how to make this yummy “Momtail”? Here is how:
Anything that includes shaking things in a cocktail shaker and breaking things with a toy hammer is for me, and it was delicious!
We had such a great time checking out Instant Mom on NickMom and talking about the joys of parenting (and being able to laugh about the not-so-joyous aspects of Mommyhood) we decided to make this a monthly meeting! I think it is important to get in some “me” time, even if you only have 30 minuets to laugh along with NickMom after the kids have gone to sleep!

Tell me, what is one of your favorite #MotherFunny moments? One of mine is when my daughter told me I was no longer aloud to sing in public because I was embarrassing her! Little does she know that only makes me want to do it more
