Remember when you were little and your mother handed you a bar of Ivory soap in the bath tub and it would float? No matter how hard you tried, you could never get it to sink to the bottom? Well, times have changed just a bit. The Ivory bath bar still floats but there’s a new bucket of suds in town and it is Ivory liquid body wash. Having been given the opportunity to try out this new bubbly bottle of clean I have to admit that I was a bit skeptical. My first thought was, “this probably won’t be the same as the bar”, you know, if it ain’t broke don’t fix it? Well, much to my pleasant surprise the Ivory body wash is wonderful. I first tried the aloe and was blown away by the amount of lather it produced. The scent is fresh and clean; not overpowering and rinsed away clean leaving my skin feel “squeaky” clean. Next I tried the lavender and was just as pleased with its aroma and of course, the rich creamy lather. The Ivory bar is still a great favorite and is my number one choice for bath tub fun for kids, however the new Ivory body wash is the perfect upgrade for adults and teenagers alike.
