It is not what you save it is what you spend

The title of this post is dedicated to my husband.. target may 17before I started my coupon habit.. I would save tons! I mean I would buy three shirts because they were on “sale“. You know three shirts on “sale” equaled the cost of one normal priced shirt.

My husband loves to listen to me reason my purchases he found it charming.(HA HA HA) I mean he is in sales and I could easily sell anything to anyone. One day I came home with bags of on sale goods and he smiled and said, “Amee, it is not what you save it is what you spend.” I am a little sassy (well more than a little) and I responded with “I saved a lot” I mean.. who doesn’t need six pairs of shorts in tan.  They were only $9.99.  I could easily have made do with two pairs since my job did not require me to wear khaki shorts.

Renae and I started this blog to help you buy things you NEED by spending less.  We want to explain how buying things to buy them is okay if they are free or you get paid to take them but buying things because they are on sale is not the way to watch what you spend.

Here is my Target trip from today. (Renae and I went together because it is easier to remember the deals, watch the children, and share coupons if necessary. It is also tons of fun!)

While the coupons I paired to get the super savings were on the coupon.com icon on the side of our site (they were mostly the Kraft coupons that we asked you to print out..see we have a method to our madness) ALWAYS CHECK daily for new coupons!!! And remember to apply the concept of stacking store coupon with manufactures coupons! If you need more help with that go HERE.
