One of our readers, Adrienne, had an issue with the Old El Paso catalina deal at Harris Teeter this week. When she bought the qualifying items, the catalina for the money off her next order did not print. Adrienne sent us this e-mail identifying the steps she took to get her catalina!
Just wanted to let you know how it went. I called 1-888-8coupon to get the Catalina customer service, and pressed #3 for the consumer option. I explained my problem about how the catalina for the products didn’t print, but I had received other coupons at checkout, so it wasn’t a printer error. The guy (who was one of the best phone reps I’ve spoken with) took my name, and then asked for the date and time of the transaction (at the bottom of the receipt), my phone number, the phone number of the store, and my VIC card #. They use the phone number to determine which store, and confirmed the name of the store before proceeding. He pulled up my transaction, looked at my purchases, and then told me that they would mail me a coupon for that amount. I gave him my address and he gave me a confirmation number. That’s it. That was much easier than I thought it would be!
I thought this would be a helpful tip for us all to know! I have had this happen before but never persued it. thank you Adrienne for letting us know how to fix this problem!
**Note: For those who are wondering what a catalina is, it is the a coupon that prints at checkout. Sometimes they are manufactures coupons and sometimes they are money off your next order.
