Feeding their dog the best food is very important to every pet owner that I have talked to. Sometimes the food we buy at the store doesn’t offer them enough of the healthy things that they need or we might just want to give them a healthy alternative to dry kibble. I have found that the best Healthy Dog Food Recipes begin in my kitchen. These recipes are made by me and they are made with love so my dogs know that they are very important to me and my family. Plus they love waiting to taste the treats that they know are coming. 

Healthy Dog Food Recipes

This Healthy Dog Food Recipes is good all by itself or treat your dog every day by adding 4-5 Tbsps daily to your dog’s regular food.

Ingredients

4-6 Medium Chicken Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts

6 – 14.5 oz Cans of Green Beans

2 – 14.5 oz Cans of Whole Kernel Corn

Directions

Trim any excess fat or gristle from chicken breasts. Place on Baking Sheet and Bake on 375* until cooked.

Remove from oven and let cool.

Dice into Bite Size Pieces and Set Aside.

In Large Stock Pot, place Green Beans and Corn.

Mix well and cook over low heat until warm.

Stir in Chicken and let mixture cool.

Place in Storage Container and place in fridge. May refrigerate for up to 2 weeks.

Serving

If you are planning to feed your animal the whole meal at once you can feed immediately upon bringing to cooler temp or serve from fridge cold.

If you are going to add to food when feeding, you do not have to warm up prior to use but can to pamper your pet.

Options

To create variety switch out the Whole Kernel Corn for Carrots or Peas.

Substitute Boneless Skinless Chicken Thighs for the Chicken Breasts.

Boil Chicken in 1 cup water instead of baking.
