Giveaway: Cascadian Farm Prize Pack

For Earth Day, we shared how Cascadian Farm was supporting organic farming by donating $1 for each eco-friendly pledge. You can still make an eco-friendly pledge on the Cascadian Farm facebook page until May 31, 2010. In fact the goal is to get to $40,000 and they are just above $10,000 right now.

Cascadian Farm recently sent me a gift package so I could try their products. I have seen Cascadian Farm products in stores but I had never tried them.

The products I received are:

(1) box Fruitful O´s cereal
(1) box Cinnamon Crunch cereal
(1) box Chocolate Chip Chewy granola bars
(1) box Dark Chocolate Almond Granola
(1) box Dark Chocolate Almond granola bars
(1) box Oats & Honey granola
(1) eco-friendly grocery bag

Let me just say that I LOVED the Chocolate Chip Chewy Granola Bars! They were so yummy! My kiddos are working their way through the box of Fruitful O’s currently. They love cereal and I am glad to offer them an organic cereal. We do not eat all organic at this point, but I am trying to include organic choices when possible.

Cascadian Farm has a $1 off printable coupon available on their website.

Cascadian Farm wants to give one Madame Deals reader a Prize Pack like the one I received. You will get (4) full size boxes of cereal, (2) full size boxes of granola bars and a reusable shopping tote.

Please leave a separate comment for each method of entry. There are three methods of entry per day. The winner will be drawn at random on May 20 th.

  1. What Organic products do you buy? Or do you grow organic produce?
  2. Follow Madame Deals via RSS feed, email, twitter or facebook. If you already are, just leave a comment letting us know.
  3. Head on over to the Cascadian Farm facebook page and make an eco-friendly pledge. Then come back here and leave a comment to enter the giveaway!

Cascadian Farm and My Blog Spark provided my prize pack so I could try the products. All opinions expressed are my own and I was not compensated in any other way.

We’re not so concerned with organic as local. We buy all our meat from local producers and try to scoop up as many veggies as we can eat at the farmer’s market each week. We also started a garden this year and have so far been harvesting tons of lettuce and plenty of strawberries.

We’ve been trying to buy more organic things lately. Anything we can fit in our budget will do. My youngest son reacts to artificial colors, flavors and various other chemical ingredients. Organic is the safest way to go. The more I read about what’s in our (non-organic) food, the more frightened I get. We’re still trying to find a local source for beef/chicken.

  3. Amanda Y. says

At this point, we buy the dirty dozen organic and are trying to expand into more items organic as the budget/sales allow!

  4. Cathy says

We buy organic produce. Still trying to incorporate other organic products into our shopping trips.

  5. Carol Y. says

  6. AB Smith says

We have planted our first garden this year with many organic vegetables. We are so excited to see everything grow!

  8. Amanda says

We grow as much organic produce as possible. I would buy more at the grocery store if I could do so at a better price.

We love Cascadian farm products! We buy a lot of organic/local foods during the year. This would be a great win!

  10. Stephanie says

  11. Stephanie says

I typically buy some organic produce and some organic snacks, especially my toddler’s snacks

I buy organic fruits, veggies and grain products (cereals, etc)… but mainly soft fruits/veggies that normally require a ton of pesticide.

  13. Susan says

We try to buy organic fruits and vegetables whenever possible. We buy organic milk – it’s the only kind the kids will drink now. Since we had more access to organic products for the grandkids they prefer the taste now over non-organic.

We are able to get a lot of foods now at the farmers market since most of them started up again.

I buy a lot of lotions and soaps that are organic. Gotta love Etsy!
