This is something I’ve always wanted to do on a large scale, but never had the extra money. I’ve always wanted to put money into an envelope, seal it, and leave it on the windshield of the most beat-up car I could find. There is a grocery store not far from me that sells food at very low prices, although it’s not fresh/good food by any means. It attracts a lot of low income people. I’d put the $10 in an envelope and find a car with a baby seat in the back and just leave it on the windshield with a note inside that says “Have a wonderful day!” Oh, how I’d love to be able to hide and watch that person come back to their car……

I would use the money to help a good mama who just lost her own mama and is struggling to take care of her two children (young toddler 17 months old and a 5 month old infant)

There’s a place here called Newborns in Need. I would love to give it to them to purchase basic supplies they might need to give to new mommies. I also have a few friends back home who could really use $10 right now to provide for their families. There are so many possibilities!

  5. Wendy Pogrant says

I would use the money to buy diapers for my daughter for her son because she is a single mother struggling.

  6. Sherry Lebow says

I would use it either for our local animal shelter or for Haunting for Hope which is an event where we all donate food to the local food bank

  7. Ruth Otwell says

A teen boy we know has come from a really rough background (divorced parents , dad in prison, in trouble in school, sister shot) but has turned his life around and is becoming such a great young man. He turns 17 in a few weeks, & I would use mine & his to give him something special.

  8. Anna W. says

My daughter and I are couponers. We have been talking about doing this for a while, but we can not seem to come up with some extra money to do it. We would take the money and my daughters couponing skills to the grocery store where we would spend the money on foods which we will give to a local church that we know gives food to those families in need.

  9. Ashley Murphy says

It will not let me do anything with facebook :(
If I won this giveaway I would give the whole 20 to someone, I already have my plan for next weeks what I did to help someone. She just needs gas money to get to me. This poor woman only has 1 pair of Crocs and it snowed the other day she needs boots and sneakers but cant afford them so I have a pair of each she can have. She just needs gas money to get to me she lives 2 towns over. I found her on a website asking for shoes and told her I could help her but could not afford the shipping and it was silly to ship 2 towns over.

I would use it, along with coupons, to buy food to donate to Side by Side humanitarian. They are a local food bank that gives food to ANYONE in need in our area, regardless of income. I love this, because no matter what you make, sometimes you need help, and they will help you. They also provide food to local shelters.

  13. Roxann says

I would give it to my daughter. She is a single mom and hasn’t found a job since she got the okay to go back to work after her surgery.

  14. Shirley Chambers says

I would match the entire twenty with twenty of my own, challenge my friends to match it, then go save as many code red animals’ lives at the shelter as we possibly could.

  15. Lisa says

I would break it down to a dollar an envelope, add a letter to each one that says in short, “add to it and pass it on or use if needed” . I know of a guy that started doing this (but for the life of me I can’t think of his name or the name of his charity at the moment) but thought it was a wonderful idea. :)

  16. Jessie p. says

I would use the money to have two matching custom crocheted hats made. One for my daughter and one for her friend down the street. Her friend had a stroke about a year agoa nd shes only 3 years old! She just was diagnosed with part of her brain growing outside of the skull. She has surgery next week and this would really cheer her up in a time of great pain.

  17. Jennifer says

I have a friend who works as a full time mom during the week and graveyard shift on the weekends. A couple pounds of coffee would really brighten her up.
