Fashion Friday:Rewards Cards

I love Fashion but I hate paying tons of money to look great. I believe you need two things the knowledge of what looks good on you and the skill to find it for less. I encourage you to get rid of all the items in your closet that you do not wear. They cloud up your options to make really great outfits because you can’t see your clothes! If they are in good condition sell the at a consignment store or a place like Plato’s closet, or host a clothing swap. Clothing swaps are a blast!

The key to cheap kids clothes is to shop ahead, plan ahead, and save ahead of time. I got all of the clothes above at 50-60% off because they are out of season then I used my reward cards to save an additional $50.00 in gift card and 5% for using my Gymboree credit card . I received gymbucks for April. That will allow me to spend $100 on clothes and only pay $50. I will however work towards earning enough rewards on my credit card to pay very little out of pocket. I currently receive 1 $10 gift card a month based on my spending. I put everything on my Gymboree card and then I pay it each Wednesday night so I do not have a balance.

I bought 12 items at Gymboree for $61.18 out of pocket. The fur coat alone retailed for $42.00. The lot also included a sweater dress, 2 boy’s turtleneck, Boy’s T Shirt, Boys chords, Girl’s cable knit sweater, Girl’s black pants, Girl’s button down shirt, 2 pairs of boys jeans, and 1 pair of big girl underpants. In the lot above are two gifts and the rest of the lot is for my growing children (and eventually for my nieces).
