I love Fashion but I hate paying tons of money to look great. I believe you need two things the knowledge of what looks good on you and the skill to find it for less. I encourage you to get rid of all the items in your closet that you do not wear. They cloud up your options to make really great outfits because you can’t see your clothes! If they are in good condition sell the at a consignment store or a place like Plato’s closet, or host a clothing swap. Clothing swaps are a blast!
Being fashionable is fun but it can be expensive. It can also be hard to get out of your fashion rut and into something hot. I have to say some people mistake hot for sleazy. I think we have all been to a holiday party where we wondered if a mirror was present prior to an outfit selection. I say accentuate the positive but don’t show the assets.
I grabbed this shirt at my favorite store Goodwill for $3.50 and I even think this was homemade. The black pants are Banana Republic $15 from Plato’s closet. They were new with tags. I love black pants they slim and lengthing and a top with texture makes you stand out for all the right reasons.
I plan to add black heeled boots or animal print heels, gold hoops, a clutch, and my signature red lipstick.
