I love Fashion but I hate paying tons of money to look great. I believe you need two things: the knowledge of what looks good on you and the skill to find it for less. I encourage you to get rid of all the items in your closet that you do not wear. They cloud up your options to make really great outfits because you can’t see your clothes! If they are in good condition sell them at a consignment store or a place like Plato’s closet, or host a clothing swap. Clothing swaps are a blast!
What to wear to a work conference
Well the time is quickly approaching for our big get away. Renae and myself are heading to the Blissdom conference. This conference is our chance to meet other bloggers and we are just thrilled. I am secretly attending the conference to get uninterrupted sleep and wake up at 7:30am. I mean, I am going to work and learn a lot after I sleep!
Well the pressure to look good is on. Renae and I embarked on the journey through my closet to come up with some professional looks that represent who we are as individuals. I have always believed that classic clothes are the key and quality is important. Paying a lot for these looks is optional. The conference is two days but we have events for three days. We are attending dinners, cocktail parties, workshops, advertiser meetings, and other fun conference events.
Here is what I am bringing to Blissdom:
(1) professional dress in a classic style
(2) dresses that are appropriate but for going out (Make sure your girls are not visible and it covers your assets)
(1) pair of well-cut trousers
(2) pair of jeans
(1) sweater set
(1) winter coat
(1) leather coat
To rock my classic looks I will wear some cool shoes. My party dresses will be the ones below. While most people wish to blend in, I have never been shy. I also paid less for my designer dresses then most people pay for dinner!
